Four years ago I got a call from a woman who was trying to find someone who could make her a drum called a dumbek. It was an amazing challenge and such fun to make something I had never done before. She was able to get the skin of the drum put on at an instrument place in town. She said it sounded beautiful.
I was later commissioned by Dr. Paul Fuller to create a sculpture of a pregnant woman. He delivers babies, so this was perfect. I have since made four pregnant lady sculptures that have all sold at Metro Galleries.
I was asked by the Museum to paint a wine bottle for a fundraising event called "Winescapes". My bottle was auctioned in the live auction and sold for $1200.  The money will aid the BMOA education programs.
